After 21 years of planning, a long awaited project to renovate an old school in Scranton is just getting off the ground.
Construction crews have just started turning the former North Scranton Junior High School into apartments.
Officials with Goodwill Industries have spearheaded plans to renovate the building but admit they have hit a lot of roadblocks along the way.
The $24 million renovation project is expected to be finished in 14 months.
